These beautiful clutches have been handcrafted by a member of a small group of families who live in a disadvantaged community on the outskirts of Phnom Penh, in Cambodia. They are families living with HIV who face many difficulties in their daily lives compounded by discrimination. Sadly the opportunity to earn an income and remain in their home provinces is difficult due to the stigma attached to HIV. The members are working together to develop a small range of products made in their homes that will appeal to the Australian market. The members work closely together sharing skills, resources and supporing each other. Income is divided equally to benefit all the families living in this community.
